Etymologie

Verbreitung

Barathronus pacificus kommt im Nord- und Südostatlantik, vor Südaustralien sowie im südwestlichen und nordöstlichen Pazifik vor. Ein Exemplar (SL 42 mm) wurde in Mittelwasserschleppnetzen (0–266 m) und der Rest mit Grundschleppnetzen zwischen 2931 und 5440 m gefangen.
