Benannt zu Ehren des verstorbenen Otto Schubart (1900-1962), Myriapodist, Experimentelle Station für Biologie und Fischzucht des Landwirtschaftsministeriums (São Paulo, Brasilien), der den Zugang zur Eisenbahn für Britskis Forschung ermöglichte.
