Etymologie
Abyssalis (= aus der Tiefsee), bezieht sich auf das Vorkommen in bis zu 1400 m Tiefe im südlichen Teil des Baikalsees .
Verbreitung
Russland: Baikalsee.

Status: Stand 24.07.2023:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Gefahren für diese Art: Diese Art ist möglicherweise indirekt durch Verschmutzung, Wasserverbrauch und den Bau von Kläranlagen bedroht. Diese Art ist von keinem kommerziellen Wert.
