Etymologie

Histrio (= Harlekin), vermutlich in Anlehnung an die Querstreifen auf dem Körper, die so breit wie das Auge sind. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Östlicher Pazifik: Golf von Kalifornien.
