Etymologie
Leukos (= weiß); spilos (= Fleck), bezogen auf blaugraue Flecken auf Schnauze und Brustflossen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Südwestlicher Indischer Ozean: östliches Südafrika bis südliches Tansania, östlich bis Madagaskar.
