Holotypus: OU 22891, J39/f0439 (Fig. 13.10).
Typusfundort und -schicht: Otaio Gorge, Otaio Gorge Sandstone, Waipawan bis Mangaorapan.

Etymologie

Vom lateinischen lacina ( = Lappen, Punkt), bezogen auf den spitzen postdorsalen Winkel des Otolithen.

Verbreitung

Waipawan bis Mangaorapan, Neuseeland.
