Typusfundort und -schicht: Hinoshima-Formation der Himenoura-Gruppe, Goshoura, Amakusa, Kumamoto in Kyushu, Japan; späte Kreidezeit (Santonium).

Etymologie

Benannt nach der früheren Stadt Goshoura, die heute zusammen mit anderen zur Stadt Amakusa vereinigt wurde. In ihrer Nähe liegt die Typuslokalität.

Verbreitung

Späte Kreidezeit (Santonium): Japan.
