Etymologie
Die Art ist nach den rot gekleideten Sycorax Kriegern aus der BBC-Science-Fiction-Serie Dr. Who benannt, um die Ähnlichkeiten sowohl in Farbgebung als auch den Bombast ihrer Tracht anzusprechen.
