Etymologie
Die Art wurde zu Ehren von Herrn Isao Ijima (Professor für Zoologie, Imperial University of Tokyo) benannt, ursprünglich als ijimae (Jordan und Thompson 1914, S. 295); verpflichtende Korrektur des Artennamens zu ijimai.
Verbreitung
Southern Japan. Sand-rubble bottoms, 10–20 m Tiefe.
