Benannt zu Ehren von Richard H. Rosenblatt (1930-2014), Scripps Institution of Oceanography, für seinen Beitrag zur Biologie der Fische, insbesondere der Fische des östlichen tropischen Pazifiks. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
