Etymologie
Von schizo- (= geschnitten oder geteilt); odon (= Zahn), bezieht sich auf zwei- bis fünfzackige Schneidezähne, die einen durchgehenden, körnigen Schneidrand bilden. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
