Typen
Holotypus: MCZ 34880.
Typusfundort: Rinnsal an einem Hang zwischen río Boquerón and río Pequeni, Chagres-Becken, Panama.
Etymologie
Da diese Art nur in den Bergen gefangen wurde, ist sie montium genannt.
Verbreitung
Zuflüsse zur Karibik, Panama.
