Verbreitung
Pomacentrus imitator, war ursprünglich beschrieben vom Lihou Reef im Korallenmeer von Australien. Sein Verbreitungsgebiet reicht östlich bis Fji und Tonga. Die Art kommt mit Pomacentrus nigriradiatus an vielen dazwischenliegenden Orten gemeinsam vor.
