Benannt zu Ehren des Entomologen Ronald Hamlyn-Harris (1874-1953), Direktor des Queensland-Museums, dem McCulloch "viel wertvolle Hilfe bei der Arbeit an den ihm unterstellten Sammlungen" verdankte. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
