Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von J. Travis Jenkins (1876-1959), Fischereiberater der Regierung von Bengalen, der Annandale beim Sammeln von Typen half. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Indo-West-Pazifik: Südafrika, Ostafrika, Persischer Golf, Socitra (Jemen) und Madagaskar östlich bis Papua-Neuguinea, südlich bis Nordaustralien.
