Typen
Holotypus: MRAC B3-14-P-70.
Typusfundort: Tansania, Straßengraben entlang der B6 zwischen Mwanza, 49 km östlich, und Nyalikungu.
Etymologie
Der Artname bezieht sich auf den Serengeti-Nationalpark in dem, und in dessen Umgebung, diese neue Art vorkommt..
Verbreitung
Temporäre Tümpel im südöstlichen oder östlichen Teil des Viktoriasee-Einzugsgebiet, Tansania.
