Typusfundort: Tansania, flache Tümpel entlang der Straße von Musoma nach Mwanza, unteres Mbalageti-Flusssystem.
Etymologie
Aus dem Lateinischen sagitta, Pfeil, sich auf den spitzen Kopf und schlanke Körperform beziehend.
Verbreitung
Temporäre Tümpel im Tarime- und unteren Mbalageti-Flusssystem, Tansania.
