Etymologie
Regalis (= königlich), mit Bezug auf die "majestätischen" Farben, die beide Geschlechter tragen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Südpazifik: Marquesas-Inseln (Französisch-Polynesien).
