Verbreitung
Ostatlantik: Südostküste von Grönland, Jan Mayen Insel, von Island bis zu den Britischen Inseln und südlich bis zum Golf von Biskaya, auch in der Nordsee, Ostsee, Spitzbergen und im südlichen Teil der Barentssee (einschließlich des Weißen Meeres). Westatlantik: James Bay in Kanada bis nach New York, USA und im Arktischen Ozean.
