Etymologie

Bi (= lat. für "zwei"); calvus (= lat. für "kahl"); lineatus (= lat. für "liniert"), bezieht sich auf die beiden blassen Flecken am Hinterkopf, die die Kahlheit imitieren, und das auffällige Muster am Körper.

Verbreitung

Indopazifik: um Papua-Neuguinea (Motupore- und Loloata-Inseln in der Bootless Bay, Kranket-Lagune in der Region Madang).
