Typusfundort: Taunggok, Thade River Einzug, Yan Khaw Chaung, ca. 4 Kilometer auf der Holzfäller-Straße zur Ortschaft Gwetauk, 23 Kilometer auf der Straße von Taunggok nach Pyay, 18°47'48"N, 94°21'46"E (Karte), Rakhine State, Myanmar.
Etymologie
Von vittata (= gebändert), bezieht sich auf ein auffälliges Seitenband; -ula, Wortendung als Verkleinerungsform, bezogen auf geringe Größe. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
