Typusfundort: Taunggok, Thade River Drainage, Yan Khaw Chaung, etwa 4 Kilometer auf der Holzfällerstraße vom Dorf Gwetauk, 23 Kilometer auf der Straße Taunggok-Pyay, 18°47'48"N, 94°21'46"E (Karte), Rakhine State, Myanmar.
Etymologie
Benannt nach dem Teilstaat Rakhine in Myanmar, wo sich ursprünglich der einzig bekannte Fundort befand.
Verbreitung
Mynamar: Rakhine Yoma, westlicher Abhang; Indien: Kaladan.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 7.08.2023:NT Near Threatened (potenziell gefährdet)
Gefahren für diese Art: Spezifische Bedrohungen für die Art sind nicht bekannt. Derzeit ist das Verbreitungsgebiet Rhakine Yoma relativ wenig von der Abholzung betroffen.
