Typusfundort: Taunggok Markt, Taunggok, 18°51'00"N, 94°13'59"E (Karte), Rakhine State, Myanmar.
Etymologie
Niger (= schwarz); collum (= Hals), bezieht sich auf den dunklen Streifen, der den hinteren Rand des Kopfes umrandet.
Verbreitung
Myanmar: Gebiet von Rakhine-Yoma; Mizoram (Nordostindien).

Gefahren für diese Art: Diese Art kommt in einem dicht besiedelten Gebiet vor, in dem Lebensraumverluste und -zerstörungen zu verzeichnen sind. Sie kann auch durch übermäßige Ausbeutung zur Nahrungsgewinnung bedroht sein.
