Typen
Holotypus: AMS IA.2483.
Paratypen: AMS IA.2824-25 (1, 1).
Typusfundort: Ten miles northeast of Montague Island, New South Wales, Australia, depth 70-80 fathoms.
Etymologie
Zu Ehren von Whitleys Freund und Kollegen William Boardman, der die Typusexemplare von einem Trawler gesammelt hatte. (Übersetzt aus The ETYFish Project)
