Rotes Meer; Indo-West-Pazifik: Golf von Oman, Persischer Golf, Saudi-Arabien, Ostafrika und Madagaskar, Iran, Pakistan, Indien, östlich bis Indonesien, Vietnam, Philippinen, China, Taiwan, nördlich bis zur Insel Okinawa, Japan; Mittelmeer und Marmarameer (Einwanderer aus dem Roten Meer).
