Etymologie

Benannt nach dem niederländische Arzt und Ichthyologen Pieter Bleeker (1819-1878), der zu dieser Zeit mit Günther über den Verkauf von Teilen seiner riesigen Sammlung indopazifischer Fische an Günther und das British Museum verhandelte. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
