Status: Stand 27.03.2021:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Gefahren für diese Art: Aufgrund der Tiefwassernatur dieser Art ist es unwahrscheinlich, dass Bassozetus robustus von einer größeren Bedrohung betroffen ist.
