Typusfundort: Zwischen den Gemeinden Passa Vinte und Santa Rita de Jacutinga, Nebenfluss des Rio Bananal, Einzugsgebiet des Rio Preto, 24 km von Passa Vinte entfernt, Bundesstaat Minas Gerais, Brasilien.
Etymologie
Benannt nach Maria Anais Barbosa, für ihre Hilfe bei der Feld- und Laborarbeit.
