Etymologie
Trypa (= Loch); auchen (= Hals), bezieht sich auf die ovale Öffnung (eigentlich eine beutelartige Struktur) am dorsalen Rand des Kiemendeckels (Funktion unbekannt). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
