Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren des Ökologen und Meeresbiologen Lev Fishelson (1923-2013), Universität Tel-Aviv, für seinen "enormen" Beitrag zu unserem Wissen über die Fauna des Roten Meeres, wo diese Grundel endemisch ist. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
