Typusfundort: Alotau, Milne Bay, Papua-Neuguinea, 4,8 km östlich des Hauptkai, 10°18.256'S, 150°24.768'E (Karte), Tiefe 17,5 m.
Etymologie
Chledos (= Schlamm); phileo (= liebevoll), bezieht sich auf seine Vorliebe für Lebensräume mit Schlammboden, was für Trimma ungewöhnlich ist, die häufiger an Korallenriffen vorkommen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Westpazifik: Milne Bay und New Britain (Papua-Neuguinea). Kann auf Milne Bay (Papua-Neuguinea) beschränkt sein.
