Etymologie
Von alternatus (= abwechselnd), bezogen auf 10-14 große Punkte entlang der Seitenmitte, häufig abwechselnd mit einer Reihe von Punkten über ihnen und manchmal teilweise zusammenfließend mit ihnen, wobei eine Längsreihe oder eine Reihe von unregelmäßigen Balken auf dem Rücken gebildet wird.
