Etymologie
Simplex (= einzeln), eine „gut differenzierte Art, so dass [Mees], obwohl nur ein einziges Exemplar verfügbar war, keine Bedenken hatte, es als neu zu bezeichnen“. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
