Advenus (= männliches Substantiv, abgeleitet von advena (= lat. für Fremder)), mit Bezug auf eine Reihe von "besonderen taxonomischen Merkmalen, die sie von anderen Gattungsarten unterscheiden". (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Westlicher Zentralpazifik: bekannt durch ein einziges Exemplar von Saulte Point, Coburg Halbinsel, Northern Territory, Australien..
