(2021: [12]) scheint S. coruhensis sehr eng mit Salmo labrax verwandt zu sein (übereinstimmend mit den BFD-Testergebnissen [BFD = Bayes-Faktor-Abgrenzung]), was darauf hindeutet, dass ihre Artunterscheidung möglicherweise nicht gerechtfertigt ist |

Gefahren für diese Art: Die wichtigsten Bedrohungen für diese Art sind der Bau von Dämmen (insbesondere für die Wasserkraft) und die Verschmutzung in den unteren Teilen der Flüsse..
