Typusfundort: Andamanensee, Thailand (gekauft am Pak Nam Ranong Fischereihafen, Provinz Ranong, 09°56'N, 98°35'E (Karte)).
Etymologie
Abgeleitet vom lateinischen sanguinea (= blutrot), in Bezug auf ein rotes längliches breites Band auf dem hinteren Körper und rote Flecken auf der Schwanzflosse.
Verbreitung
Nur aus der Andamanensee bekannt.
