Typen

Holotypus: OU 22893 (Fig. 15.10).
Typusfundort und -schicht: Otaio Gorge, Otaio Gorge Sandstein, Waipawan-Mangaorapan.

Etymologie

Benannt nach dem Otaio River, nach dem auch die Typuslokalität, Otaio Gorge, und die Typusformation, Otaio Gorge Sandstein, benannt sind.

Verbreitung

Neuseeland: Otaio Gorge, Otaio Gorge Sandstein, Waipawan-Mangaorapan.
