Etymologie
Der Artname leitet sich vom Khasi-Wort Rongsaw ab, das Rot bedeutet und auf die blutrote Farbe der Art im Leben anspielt.
Verbreitung
Nur von der Typuslokalität in den Khasi-Hügeln, Bundesstaat Meghalaya, Nordostindien, bekannt.
