Etymologie
Bi- (= zwei); marginatus (= gesäumt oder umrandet), bezieht sich auf die breiten, lavendelblauen, oberen und unteren Ränder der Schwanzflosse (im Gegensatz zu nur dem oberen Lappen wie bei Pyronotanthias unimarginatus, der in derselben Arbeit beschrieben wird). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
