Etymologie
Atavai (= tahitianisch für hübsch), in Bezug auf die attraktive Färbung beider Geschlechter der Art.
Verbreitung
Pazifik: Guam bis zu den Gesellschafts-, Tuamoto-, Austral- und Ducie-Inseln.
