Status: Stand 16.05.2017: LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Es gibt keine großen Bedrohungen. Jede Bedrohung der Küsten- und Mangroven-Lebensräume (z. B. Verschmutzung oder Zerstörung von Mangroven) kann die Art in Teilen ihres Verbreitungsgebietes beeinflussen, aber die Spezies scheint sich an die verschiedenen Lebensräume ziemlich gut anzupassen zu können.
