Etymologie
Von cyano (= Blau) und gramma (= Streifen), der Name spiegelt das charakteristische Muster des blauen Leuchtgewebes auf der ventralen Körperseite wider.
Verbreitung
Die Art ist bisher nur von dem im äquatorialen Westpazifik gesammelten Holotypus bekannt.
