Etymologie
Ruber (= rot); caudalis (= Schwanz), bezieht sich auf die rote Schwanzflosse der Männchen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Westpazifik: Fidschi, Manus, Papua-Neuguinea, Vanuatu.
