Typusfundort: Dowarra Island, 0°50'S, 128°12'E, (Karte), Sulawesi, Indonesia, Albatross station D.5629.

Etymologie

Eine Kombination der griechischen Wörter gramme (= Linie oder Zeile) und odon (= Zahn), vermutlich in Bezug auf die meist einzelnen Reihen von Zähnen in den Kiefern.
