Etymologie
Di- (= gr. zwei oder doppelt); pharos (= Leuchtfeuer), bezieht sich auf das Paar auffälliger länglicher basicaudaler Flecken, die diese Art kennzeichnen.
Verbreitung
Rotes Meer: nur vom südlichen Roten Meer bekannt.
