Tagalog-Wort (Philippinen) für Schnabel, das sich auf die fleischige, spitze Spitze des Prämaxillars bezieht. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Südöstlicher Indischer Ozean, westlicher Pazifik: Indonesien östlich bis zu den Philippinen und den Salomonen, nördlich bis zum südlichen Japan, südlich bis zum nördlichen Australien.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 21.1.2022:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
