Etymologie
Benannt nach Dennis Parmley, pensioniertes Fakultätsmitglied am Georgia College und der State University, in Anerkennung seiner zahlreichen Beiträge zum Wissen über die Wirbeltierfaunen des mittleren Eozäns in Zentral-Georgia.
