Holotypus: MACN 6438.
Typusfundort: Parque Unzue, Gualeguaychú, Provinz Entre Rios, Argentinien.
Etymologie
Zu Ehren von Alejandro, dem bereits im Kleinkindalter verstorbenen Sohn von Osvaldo Fernandez Santos, einem Entdecker und Sammler dieser Art (Lüling, 1980, Körber, 2001).
