Etymologie
Von ops (= Erscheinungsbild), Etymologie nicht erklärt, vermutlich mit oberflächlicher Ähnlichkeit von Lethrinops lethrinus mit der Meeresgattung Lethrinus (Lethrinidae). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
