Typusfundort: Brasilien, Bundesstaat Amazonas, Manaus: Reserva Ducke, temporäre Tümpel in der Nähe des Baches Acará, unteres rio Negro-Einzugsgebiet, rio Amazonas-Becken, etwa 3°0’S, 60°30’W.
Etymologie
Bwnannt zu Ehren des Biologen Alexandre Kirovsky, der die meisten Exemplare der Typenserie sammelte.
Verbreitung
Überschwemmungsgebiete in der Nähe des Baches Acará, unteres rio Negro-Einzugsgebiet, rio Amazonas-Becken.
